We are a Board of Directors led organization. There are 2 year and 3 year terms, and our Bylaws govern our organization.
Sam McGee is current President of Texas Hill Country Mustang Club and the original organizer. His passion for mustangs goes back to 1990 when he and his Dad brought a 1966 hardtop home with lawn money earned over the summer. He is passionate about bringing youth into an aging national club, honoring the past, and truly enjoys the 1964.5-1973 classics and early 1990s fox bodies. When setting out the club he wanted to bind love of cars, social, and philanthropy. Sam and his family reside in Boerne TX where he volunteers as a fireman, little league coach, and Skywarn weather spotter.
Kelly Ross is the Secretary of the Texas Hill Country Mustang Club. His love of mustangs goes back to 1987 when he acquired his first 1965 fastback, and used the car to drive through the rocky mountains (in all weather conditions) while attending college, and duty with the Marine Corps reserve. He has had other 1965 mustangs, a hard top and a convertible, but only the convertible remains in possession today. He has been a member of mustang clubs in Arizona and Texas. Enjoys learning new things about these old cars, especially the early years, but also has a love for the fox body cars as well. He likes being around others with the same passion and memories that surrounds this hobby. Kelly and family live in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX where he works sales for a large IT company, and attending as many basketball games as possible with his high school son.
Jim Ginger is the current membership director for the club and a passionate Mustang guy for 40+ years. His first memory of a Mustang was seeing a new 1969 Mach 1 in the Ford dealership in Shelbyville, Illinois. Ever since that first glimpse, he was hooked. Jim's first Mustang was a 1983 Mustang GT with T-Tops followed by a 1985.5 Jalapeno Red SVO. From there his family always had at least one newer Mustang as part of the family. Around 2003 Jim acquired his first "classic" Mustang which was ironically a white 1969 Mach 1 428 SCJ. That car was the first of many classics which currently includes several 1971 Mustangs and bosses and back to the 1980s with an SVO and Predator GT. Jim and his wife, Danette, live in Marble Falls, Texas and enjoy exploring the hill country and attending car events.
